Application:

The adjustable angle choke is designed for smooth regulation of the working medium flow by changing the annular gap area between the needle and the seat during the axial movement of the tip, achieved by rotating the handwheel.     
It is used when flow control of fluids is required, such as in wellhead Christmas trees, blowout prevention equipment, main pipelines, and pump units.

Main Technical Parameters:

• Well medium – oil, gas, gas condensate with mechanical impurities up to 25 mg/l and formation water up to 80% by volume;

• Placement category I according to GOST 15150–69;

• Corrosion-resistant design: non-corrosive, corrosive types K1, K2, K3 as per GOST 13846-89 or AA, BB, CC, DD-NL, ENL, FF-NL, NL as per API Spec 6A;

• Manufacturing technical requirement levels according to GOST / Safety levels according to API: UT1, UT2, UT3, UT4 / PSL1, PSL2, PSL3, PSL3G, PSL4;

• Performance requirement levels according to GOST / API: UTR1, UTR2 / PR1, PR2;

• Temperature classes according to API: K, L, P, R, S, T, U.
